While Insure Hawke’s Bay is a relatively young company (with a relatively young bunch of good people at the helm), collectively we’ve been in the insurance game for close to a century. We set out to bring a fresh approach and local flavour to an industry historically dominated by faceless multinational corporations. Backing the Bay drives what we do – supporting local businesses and helping them to make sure they’re protected with the cover they need.

With over 20 years of experience within the insurance industry, working both as an underwriter and broker, I have developed a deep understanding of insurance products, their application, and most of all, how to get the best out of your insurance policies should a claim occur. I’ve learnt that, above anything else, clients simply want their broker to do what they say they’re going to do – ensuring a positive outcome is critical.
