While Insure Hawke’s Bay is a relatively young company (with a relatively young bunch of good people at the helm), collectively we’ve been in the insurance game for close to a century. We set out to bring a fresh approach and local flavour to an industry historically dominated by faceless multinational corporations. With over 20 years of experience within the insurance industry, working both as an underwriter and broker, I have developed a deep understanding of insurance products, their application, and most of all, how to get the best out of your insurance policies should a claim occur. I’ve learnt that, above anything else, clients simply want their broker to do what they say they’re going to do – ensuring a positive outcome is critical.

I’m recently returned from Ireland with an Irishman in tow to raise my family in beautiful sunny Hawkes Bay. The majority of my career was in Australia where I worked as a Claims Manager for complex claims such as Fire, explosion and malicious damage.
